With a focus on virtualisation, modsys is able to simulate entire vessels in our office, ensuring all systems can be fully tested prior to installation on-board. Additionally, the simulation system can be used to train crew in control and electrical system operation and fault response procedures.
In addition to engineering design capabilities modsys is able to provide shipyards and vessel operators with support in managing their classification requirements. Our team incorporates former surveyors who will ensure all work is executed in compliance with the relevant rules and regulations. We will manage the approval process independently or work with the shipyard team or crew to ensure approvals are received in the shortest possible time frame.
